Digital Skills Workshops

We offer hands-on workshops for students through the First Year Success Series (FYSS), Professional Development Co-Curriculars (PDC) and in partnership with student organizations or other groups on campus. Topics covered include basic to advanced iPad functionality, using apps to support success in and outside of the classroom, mindful technology use, creativity and branding through Adobe Spark and iPad automation. See the calendar entries to find out what a specific workshop will cover.

Registration is typically required. For FYSS and PDCs, students can register for these sessions through their survey course or the Second Year Transformation Experience Program.

Mobile Design Lab

Mobile Design Lab events are designed to meet participants where they are, just like the lab itself.

Activities are designed to help beginners get comfortable with coding and get creative with digital design, while encouraging more experienced users to get outside of their comfort zone and to build connections.

In addition to themed events, the lab will also offer 'open sessions' throughout the semester. These are informal opportunities for anyone with an interest in getting support or just learning about the space to stop by and engage with the lab.

Coding Workshops

We will host coding workshops throughout the year to help you build Swift coding skills. Whether you’re a coding pro or unfamiliar with coding altogether these workshops will offer new ideas and inspiration. Designed alongside Swift Playgrounds app on iPads, these workshops will build skills at any level of Swift coding experience. These workshops are provided at no cost.

These are scheduled events available on all campuses. Registration is required.
