Student Mentors

Be a part of Digital Flagship's mission to build digital skills across Ohio State by becoming a Student Mentor. You'll gain valuable experience with current technology and help your peers succeed in a digital world.

Student Mentors are ambassadors for Digital Flagship on every campus. You'll have the opportunity to support this initiative in several ways:

  • Assisting the Digital Flagship team during event programming and even leading workshops yourself.
  • Distributing and setting up technology kits for incoming students and guiding them through using their new technology.
  • Providing individual support to students, faculty and staff through drop-in hours to answer questions and help them navigate Digital Flagship resources.
  • Completing projects related to coding, design, app development, education technology and other areas that interest you.

Want to Join Our Team?

Search for the Digital Flagship Student Mentor listing on Handshake or fill out the interest form below to hear about open positions.

You don't have to be a tech expert (though experience is always a plus) as long as you're willing to learn.

Hours are flexible and contingent on Digital Flagship programming. Applicants with availability to work summer distributions and plans to continue their education at a regional campus for another full year will receive additional consideration.
