  • October 9: Getting the Most Out of Your Email
  • October 19: Gestures
  • October 25: Voice Memos
  • October 30: Health App Features

Registration isn’t required, just drop by.

We will also hold Virtual Office Hours throughout the year so that you can access Student Mentor support from the convenience of your home, residence hall, or workplace.

First-Year Success Series

We are facilitating a 60-minute workshop offered as part of the First Year Success Series. This hands-on workshop will be offered as an option for students in survey courses and will span topics like basic to advanced iPad functionality, using apps to support success in and outside of the classroom, game-changers discovered by our Student Mentors and mindful use of technology.

These are scheduled events available on all campuses. Registration is required.

Course Demonstrations

Working closely with Digital Flagship Educators, Student Mentors will join courses to teach digital skills, by request. Short 15-minute demonstrations of specific iPad functions, university-provided apps, and general digital skills will be scheduled throughout the year during iPad required courses.

These are scheduled events available in specific courses by request from instructors.

Coding Workshops

We will host coding workshops throughout the year to help you build Swift coding skills. Whether you’re a coding pro or unfamiliar with coding altogether these workshops will offer new ideas and inspiration. Designed alongside Swift Playgrounds app on iPads, these workshops will build skills at any level of Swift coding experience. These workshops are provided at no cost.

These are scheduled events available on all campuses. Registration is required.
